Ben Payne has been painting since a young age and is mostly self-taught. However, he gained valuable knowledge from his artist mother while growing up. He studied in Wimbledon, London before exploring other passions, but never lost his love for painting. After completing a degree in Psychology, he pursued a career as a Behavioural Therapist with a focus on working with children with Autism. This experience taught him the importance of simplicity and clear communication. His paintings have been praised for their innocence and uniqueness, which Ben credits to his background in therapy.
In 2003, Ben's unique approach to art gained popularity, prompting him to turn his lifelong passion into a lucrative profession. His work was quickly snapped up by a prominent fine art gallery, marking the beginning of his prosperous career. Since then, he has showcased his talent in numerous solo exhibitions across the UK and his limited edition prints of idyllic landscapes have been in high demand.
